About MAHA PAC
MAHA PAC is a hybrid federal super PAC — a political action committee registered with the Federal Election Commission — dedicated to electing Republicans to the U.S. House and Senate in 2026 who will champion the Make America Healthy Again agenda. We fund independent expenditures including advertising, voter outreach, digital media campaigns, and ground operations in targeted races across the country, and we contribute directly to MAHA-aligned candidates.
MAHA Action is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization focused on advocacy, education, and public awareness campaigns around health freedom issues. MAHA PAC is a separate, independent political action committee that directly supports specific candidates for federal office through advertising, voter outreach, and campaign operations. While both organizations share the broader MAHA mission, they operate independently under different legal structures and FEC regulations.
Make America Healthy Again is a movement to reform America's food system, hold the pharmaceutical industry accountable, and ensure every family has access to clean food, transparent healthcare pricing, and honest information about what goes into their bodies. It means electing leaders who will prioritize the health of American families over the profits of corporate special interests.
MAHA PAC is led by Co-Presidents Tony Lyons and Mark Gorton. Tony Lyons is a publisher and longtime advocate for health freedom and government accountability. Mark Gorton is an entrepreneur and philanthropist committed to transparent governance and public health reform. Together, they guide the PAC's strategy for the 2026 midterm elections.
No. MAHA PAC is an independent political action committee. As a super PAC, we are legally prohibited from coordinating with any candidate's campaign or any government official. We independently advocate for candidates who support the MAHA agenda, but all spending decisions and strategy are made independently by MAHA PAC leadership.
Donations & FEC Compliance
Your contributions fund three key areas: advertising (TV, digital, and print ads that reach millions of voters with the MAHA message), voter outreach (identifying and mobilizing health-conscious voters in targeted districts), and digital media (social media content, email campaigns, and digital infrastructure to amplify the health freedom message).
On our website, "Donate to MAHA PAC" funds our independent expenditure account — money used for advertising, voter outreach, and operations that we control independently. There are no contribution limits on this account. "Contribute to Candidates" funds our contribution account, which goes directly toward supporting specific MAHA-aligned candidates. Individual contributions to this account are limited to $5,000 per year under FEC regulations.
It depends on which account you donate to. Our independent expenditure account has no contribution limits — individuals, corporations, and organizations may give unlimited amounts. Our candidate contribution account is subject to FEC regulations: individuals may contribute up to $5,000 per calendar year (2025–2026 election cycle). Both accounts require donor disclosure for contributions over $200.
An independent expenditure is spending on political advertising or communications that expressly advocates for or against a candidate, made without any coordination with that candidate's campaign. Super PACs like MAHA PAC can raise and spend unlimited funds on independent expenditures. This includes TV ads, digital campaigns, mailers, and grassroots outreach — all produced and distributed independently of any candidate.
No. Contributions to MAHA PAC are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. Political contributions to PACs and super PACs are not eligible for tax deductions under IRS rules.
Federal election law requires political committees to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of any individual who contributes more than $200 in an election cycle. This information is reported to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and made part of the public record to ensure transparency in political fundraising. We collect this information on all donations to ensure full compliance.
MAHA PAC takes your privacy seriously and will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, under federal law, the FEC requires that donor information (name, address, occupation, and employer) for contributions exceeding $200 be disclosed in public filings. This is a legal requirement for all political committees. You can review our full privacy policy for more details.
MAHA PAC is a hybrid federal super PAC with two accounts. Our independent expenditure account can accept unlimited contributions from corporations, associations, and individuals. Our candidate contribution account accepts contributions from individuals only — corporations and labor unions are prohibited from donating to this account by federal law. Individual contributions to the candidate account are subject to standard FEC limits ($5,000 per year). All donors are subject to FEC disclosure requirements.
Issues & Policy Priorities
MAHA PAC focuses on five core policy priorities: hospital price transparency (requiring hospitals to publish real prices so families can make informed healthcare decisions), ending Big Pharma conflicts of interest (removing pharmaceutical industry influence from government regulatory agencies), getting ultra-processed food out of children's meals (reforming school lunch programs and food marketing to kids), removing petroleum-based food dyes from the food supply (banning synthetic additives linked to behavioral issues in children), and ending the overmedicalization of children (ensuring kids receive appropriate, evidence-based care rather than unnecessary pharmaceutical interventions).
Hospital price transparency means requiring hospitals and healthcare facilities to publicly disclose the actual prices they charge for services, procedures, and medications. Despite federal rules already on the books, most hospitals still fail to comply. When families can compare prices, competition drives costs down and patients can make informed decisions. MAHA PAC supports candidates who will enforce and strengthen transparency requirements so Americans stop getting surprise bills and can shop for care the same way they shop for anything else.
Petroleum-based food dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5 have been linked in peer-reviewed research to hyperactivity, behavioral issues, and other health problems in children. Many of these dyes are already banned in the European Union. Similarly, ultra-processed foods — which make up the majority of calories in the average American child's diet — are associated with obesity, diabetes, and chronic disease. MAHA PAC supports candidates who will take on the food industry and prioritize children's health over corporate profits.
The overmedicalization of children refers to the growing trend of prescribing pharmaceutical interventions — including psychotropic medications — to children when lifestyle changes, dietary improvements, or other non-pharmaceutical approaches might be more appropriate. MAHA PAC believes in evidence-based medicine and supports candidates who will promote research into root causes of childhood health issues rather than defaulting to medication as a first-line treatment.
Our policy priorities are driven by the health freedom concerns that resonate most with American families and where elected officials can make the biggest impact. We rely on polling data, input from health policy experts, feedback from our supporter community, and analysis of where legislative action can deliver meaningful results. Our 2026 priorities reflect the issues where MAHA-aligned candidates can draw the sharpest contrast with the status quo.
Candidates & Elections
MAHA PAC evaluates candidates based on their commitment to health freedom policies, their voting record (for incumbents), their public positions on MAHA priorities, and the competitiveness of their race. We prioritize races where our support can make the biggest difference — both primary challenges against incumbents who block health freedom legislation and general election races in swing districts where MAHA messaging resonates with voters.
MAHA PAC is targeting key U.S. House and Senate races across the country where health freedom candidates have the best chance of winning. This includes primary challenges against Republican incumbents who have blocked MAHA legislation, as well as competitive general election races where the MAHA message can swing the outcome. We announce specific endorsements and spending commitments as races develop throughout the cycle.
No. As a super PAC, MAHA PAC is legally prohibited from coordinating its spending with any candidate's campaign. All of our advertising, voter outreach, and campaign activities are planned and executed independently. This is a core requirement of federal election law for independent expenditure-only committees, and we take compliance seriously.
A super PAC (officially called an "independent expenditure-only committee") is a type of political action committee that can raise unlimited funds from individuals, corporations, and unions to spend on political advertising and outreach. The key restriction is that a super PAC cannot coordinate its spending with any candidate's campaign. Super PACs must register with the FEC and regularly disclose their donors and expenditures. MAHA PAC is registered as a super PAC with the Federal Election Commission.
